Persist Through Disappointment for Success

Whatever you are trying to achieve, don't be discouraged by results, and don't give up. The most important thing is to keep going.

This chart from James Clear in his excellent book "Atomic Habits" sums it up superbly.

Your results in the short and medium term are likely to be lower than you expected, and likely to cause you to quit and move to another endeavour. However, you are probably making way more progress than you realise and if you stick at it, you will achieve far greater results than you ever expected.

We see it with our clients financial plan, we see it in our own business, on the sports field, with our kids. Everywhere.

So if you are trying to achieve something and feel like you are stuck in the valley of disappointment, keep on trying. You're doing better than you think.
