Why Investment Resilience Matters

Sometimes I can write thousands of words explaining why an investment process is most suitable, and although I might be correct, the message might not land.

So when I was reading recently what other prominent advisers have to say, I really liked this very simple example from Eric Nelson.

It shows very clearly why portfolio resilience is such an enormous benefit for all investors, and especially retirees. It also helps explain why evidence based funds such as Dimensional can be so valuable in building that resilience.
